We are pleased to announce that the 2012 USASA National Veterans Cup will be hosted by Cal South on June 26 - July 1, 2012 in Escondido, North San Diego County, California.
 
For next year’s event all the games will be played at the Frances Ryan Park.  This complex is owned and operated by the City of Escondido.  Frances Ryan Park contains 67 acres, 42 of which are currently developed.  The facility has seven athletic soccer fields, five with lights and two without; parking; and landscaping. The fields are currently home to the Escondido Youth Soccer Club, and are used by many other non-profit groups.  By the time the tournament starts they will have added an 8th soccer field.  We have also reserved a couple of back-up fields with nearby schools to provide additional flexibility for scheduling purposes.

Effective September 1, 2011

Competition Prize Money

Commencing with the 2011-2012 Cup season, EPSA will award prize money to our State Cup Champions as follows:

·        Competitions of 20 or more teams -- $1000 prize

·        Competitions of 10 or more teams -- $500 prize

·        All other competitions of at least one game -- $250 prize

A State Cup trophy will continue to be presented to the winner in competitions of four or more teams.

However, as a result, National Cup stipends will not be awarded.

This program is a pilot project and will be reviewed by the Executive Committee prior to the 2012-2013 Cup season.
