 Some things to clarify regarding the player pools:
 
--  When submitting your player pool, you must send it to Rob Oldfield at pkbceo@aol.com 
 
--  Any time a player is signed, you must immediately submit a new player pool with the added player.  This becomes your Official Pool.
 
--  Only 22 players may be active on your pool at any time.  Any players over 22 must be released and are no longer active.
 
--  Your game-day lineup must only include players from your Official Pool.
 
--  Until a new player pool is submitted, your previous pool will be in effect as your Official Pool.

--  If a player is not on your Official Pool, he/she is no longer eligible as a member of your team.  If a player is not on your Official Pool, and he/she plays in a match, that match is an automatic forfeit.

The U.S. WNT is currently in Japan for the Women’s Kirin Challenge Cup and will play the first of two matches when it faces the hosts on April 1 at Yurtec Stadium in Sendai at 7:30 p.m. local time (6:30 a.m. ET). Two days later, the U.S. will take on Brazil in Chiba at 8 p.m. local time (7 a.m. ET). After these two matches, the next full international will be against China on May 27.

Both Kirin Challenge Cup matches will be televised live on ESPN2 and ESPN3, and fans can also follow the matches on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and via Twitter @ussoccer_wnt.

The U.S. Women have a long history in Pennsylvania, having played 12 matches in the state, including a 5-0 victory against Nigeria in Philadelphia during the 2003 FIFA Women’s World Cup, but this will be just the second match at PPL Park. The first was in October of 2010, also against China, and ended in a 1-1 draw as Alex Morgan scored her first career WNT goal with a late equalizer.

PPL Park is a part of the new wave of stadium construction for Major League Soccer. The stadium opened during the summer of 2010 and is the home of the Philadelphia Union.

The USA, which currently sits atop the FIFA Women’s World Rankings, will be playing China for the first time since January of 2011 when it won 2-0 to take the title at the Four Nations Tournament in Chongqing, China, on goals from Carli Lloyd and Amy Rodriguez.

This will be the fourth meeting in as many years between the United States and Brazil, the most recent a 2-0 win for the Selecao on Aug. 10, 2010, in front of more than 77,000 fans at the New Meadowlands Stadium.

Brazil leads the series with 15 wins in 16 games. The lone U.S. came at the 1998 Gold Cup when Preki scored to give the USA a 1-0 win. Kasey Keller earned the shutout.

We are expecting a large number of teams to register this year.  The record of 104 teams could be in jeopardy! Registration will be capped at 110 teams.

New Referee Fees for the 2010-11 season will be:

• Referee                               -  $73.00
• Assistant Referees  (lines)  -  $46.00 each   (CORRECTED)

For all matches using a 3-man system, the total cost will be $165.  The HOME team will pay $83, and the AWAY team will pay $82.

For all matches using a 1-man system, the total cost will be $73.  The HOME team will pay $37, and the AWAY team will pay $36.
